How Pete Gives Back

The funds raised by DYNAMITE! Pete DAYS

are used to better our community & its organizations! 

Since 2021, we have been able to put a total of $84,100 back into our community.

2021 – $8,300 2022 – $17,000 2023 – $28,000 2024 – $30,800

Funds raised go back into our community to:

  • Volunteer groups that donate their time, facilities, or other resources to helping with DYNAMITE! Pete Days events receive donations to their organizations.

  • The Dynamite Pete Days committee also makes donations to other community organizations based on need.

Once donations are made to these groups, the remainder of DYNAMITE! Pete Days proceeds are split between the two organizations that founded & continue to organize the event:

  • The Louisville Area Foundation (LAF) which uses proceeds for community betterment projects &

  • The Louisville Public School Foundation (LPSF) which uses proceeds to fund scholarships
